Tajinder (Natty) Singh’s primary responsibilities include developing and implementing quantitative market neutral strategies for emerging markets and working with the research team on value-addition projects. He has several years of experience in developing arbitrage and statistical arbitrage strategies across various markets and asset classes.
Prior to joining Venus Capital Management, Natty was employed as Vice President at Fortis Bank, where he was a key member of one of the most successful proprietary trading desk of Fortis Bank that managed over a billion dollars in arbitrage and market neutral strategies. Before Fortis, Natty worked at a couple of Hedge funds and Asset Management firms in different capacities.
The addition of Natty to the Venus team provides us with more depth in trading and research as well as enhances our alpha-generation capabilities.
Natty has an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Punjab Engineering College.
