Dylan Tinker was a top rated Asian TMT (telecom media technology) analyst between 1993-2005, helping both Jardine Fleming (1993-1999) and UBS (2000-2005) obtain #1 Asian research rankings.
Dylan headed teams that averaged 15 people and also held the roles of Head of Asian Sector Research and Head of Global Telecom Research. In 2007, Dylan was the first Asian analyst for Tudor’s US$1 billion Asian hedge fund and helped build the research team.
Dylan joined Venus Capital as the PM on their new Asian Absolute Return Fund. Dylan has lived in Asia for 17 years and is skilled in Mandarin, API programming, and econometrics. Dylan holds an B.A. from American University in Economics and International Relations. He also attended graduate school at Johns Hopkins, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
